Daebreh (Day-bruh) of Gonfalon Bay
Daebreh was the last survivor of her family. Her dad was a mercenary from Malabal Tor, named Vaeyen, very handy with a sword. Her mother, Maebrooke, was a sorceress also born and raised in Malabal Tor, traveling with her husband. They had amassed a large fortune being sell swords for more than twenty years from continent to continent. It was during their extended stay in the High Isles when Maebrooke conceived Daebreh. They would continue to do jobs in the High Isles as they attempted to raise their daughter.
On their final journey to the High Isles, both of her parents died in battle. Daebreh was left a wealthy orphan. Having become good friends with a Breton noble and his family, the young Wood Elf was adopted by the Dupre Family. She was brought up to remember her mother and father and the ways of the Wood Elves, but took on a more Breton way of thinking through her education.
While her race held her back from joining the local knight orders, the Depres enrolled her with a military tutor to learn hand to hand combat. Being faithful to who her parents were, the Dupres also helped her receive magica education from a local templar officer. She quickly became one of the best understudies her tutors had ever seen.
Having come of age, the young Wood Elf upheld her mother and father's legacy and became a mercenary. Following the deep longing of her heart, she sailed to Malabal Tor to learn more about her family and her people. Her strange accent and mannerisms made her very suspect in the eyes of her Wood Elf cousins. With time she was at least accepted as a trusted outsider to the locals. She spent much time helping the local issues and warding off the darkness in the northern reaches of Gratwood. The locals named her the Light Caller because of her work with a local vampire hunter chapter. It was fabled by the locals that she held her own against more than a dozen vampires at a time and survived.
Daebreh is devout in her following of the Templar ways. She loves her people, but her faith in the Divines has distanced her from their Green Pact and their customs. She leans heavily upon the divines to aid in her endeavors.
